Today is my 18th birthday.! I’m not gonna lie, I’m excited.!!! Technically I’m legal now. If I get arrested, I’m going to jail with the big boys now. Do you all know what i don’t understand.? Why do they say “How does it feel to be __ yrs old?” Nigga Idk ! I’ve only been 18 a few hours. Am i supposed to feel different or something? A new look at life? I feel the exact same way I felt the night before when I was 17. I didn’t know I was supposed to feel different because I’m 18. Last I checked it’s still a normal day. Nothing changed except that 7 turning into a 8.

On second thought , I do feel different. I feel like more of a part of society. Like my voice means something now. I’m a legal adult.! I can vote, buy tobacco products, go to the club, talk on the phone and drive, no more curfew….THE LIFE! I guess I just wanted the freedom…..even though i did ALL of these things before now. Still though, it’s legal now. I can even date men wayyyyyyyyyyy older than me…..not that I would date somebody that’s like old enoughto be my dad or anything. Yep, life changes yet stays the same when you hit 18.
Eff 18….I wanna be 21!
